THE FALL OF THE MING DYNASTY
In the year 1628, China is in the midst of a mega-crisis which threatens to tear the fabric of the country apart. The declining Ming Dynasty, holding on to their fragile reign, is facing both financial crisis and political instability. Meanwhile, famine, environmental disasters, and social unrest are causing further havoc, which has led to the start of peasant rebellions across the land. Furthermore, the Ming and their allies are in a complex web of war with several parties, such as the Jurchens, Yi, and even the Dutch. Delegates from all of China and beyond now must convene to decide the fate of both the Chinese people and the Middle Kingdom itself.
